From My Pen

EES Africa expands its footprint nationally and in Africa

We are delighted to announce our acquisition in February of Rob Anderson & Associates cc (RAA), a Durban-based electrical engineering company.

This development not only expands our national footprint to KwaZulu-Natal with the established Durban presence of RAA, but also broadens our skills to include those of heavy current electrical and physical security. We believe this will significantly enhance our service to clients and associates. And integral to this development, we are proud to welcome Rob Anderson to the Board of EES Africa (Pty) Ltd as Executive Director.

In addition to expanding within South Africa we are also targeting further office expansion into selected African regions where we have already delivered projects. We strive to be Africa’s technology professional service provider of choice. It is only with the valued support and partnerships of our clients and associates that we are able to do this.

At the end of February we said farewell to Jaco Cronje, Operations Director based at the Johannesburg office, who left EES Africa to pursue other business interests. We thank Jaco for the valuable contribution he made during the past two years and wish him all the best in his future endeavours. We will make announcements on a replacement or resultant changes in due course.

With the power crisis South Africa is currently experiencing and renewable energy as a solution being a hot topic, we would like to draw your attention to our latest white paper, that of ‘Biomass grid connected plant technologies for power generation’ by Rodrigue Kamba, Project Engineer, EES Africa (Pty) Ltd. Please feel free to contact us to discuss the renewable energy solutions we project manage.

Regards,
Bradley
