Forging ahead with diverse security projects
EES Africa (Pty) Ltd is forging ahead with a number of security-related projects. Earlier this year the University of the Western Cape (UWC) appointed us to design and manage the installation of a new Video Management Software (VMS) system for the campus. Four VMS suppliers demonstrated their VMS in the live environment. We then carefully selected and integrated the customised video surveillance solution which was best suited to the client’s particular needs. For information on the process, see ‘The vital need to customise VMS systems‘.
In addition, EES Africa’s merger with KwaZulu-Natal based Rob Anderson & Associates cc (RAA) has broadened our project scope to include further security-related projects. These are Cornubia Retail Park and Ridgeside Development in Durban, and Umhlanga Ridge Town Centre and Bridge City Development outside of Durban. Integral to these projects is the design of security solutions, in particular CCTV surveillance solutions.
Matthew Coulson, Intern, EES Africa, is the author of our latest white paper, ‘Could the supercapacitor be the new, superior battery?‘ Matthew takes an in-depth look at the pros and cons of leading edge supercapacitor technology.
And last but not least, we welcome Ntokozo Nkabinde, our new Intern at our Stellenbosch office, who started working with us at the beginning of this month. It is tremendous to have you on board Ntokozo and we look forward to your contribution to many of our projects going forward!
